Hey,

A fundamental aspect of self-love is nourishing your body with the right foods every day.

Sugar Cravings, no motivation, chocolate cravings, low energy, tiredness and hangryness (hunger + anger) are all signs you need to start nourishing your body.

Figuring out the right balance of proteins, carbs, fats and calories for your body based on your Basal metabolic rate is a good starting point.

Many women I have worked with over the years struggle with unhealthy beliefs around food.

Sugar is bad.

White bread is bad.

Chocolate is bad.

Labelling food as good or bad makes no sense.

Food is not inherently good or bad it just depends on how we decide to use it.

Having a couple slices of bread a day isn't bad for you but eating 20 slices probably wouldn't be a good idea.

If you want to nourish your body, It's essential to do 4 things.

1. Find the right balance of food for your body, activity level and lifestyle.

2. Create a healthy relationship with food.

3. Create a mindset focused on sustainability.

4. Move away from Restrictive Fad Diets and Quick fixes.

Instead of looking at food as good or bad look at what it's going to provide you with.

Read the nutrition label.

Read what it's going to nourish your body with in terms of proteins, carbs, fat, fibre, vitamins and minerals.

The biggest mistake 99% of people make is that they eat way too many carbs and way too little protein and fat leaving them feeling tired and craving at night time.
